About our Wireless Video Village

In addition to a standard video village, we offer wireless viewing of single or multi-cam feeds using the Teradek Serv Pro system. If you would like to access the feed, follow the steps on this page.

Install, Connect, and Configure

Step 1: Download the Vuer app:

Step 2: Connect to the WiFi hotspot:

  • SSID: Video Village or Video Village 5G
  • Password: cameratruck

Step 3: Configure Vuer to add a camera feed:

  • Open the Vuer app.
  • Select 'Allow' or 'OK' when Vuer prompts to be allowed to find deviced on the local network.
  • Press the word 'Camera' at the top left of the screen to add a source.
  • Select the camera feed you would like to view.
    • If there are multiple camera feeds, you can add additional feeds here.
    • If you would like to add different tools to the same camera feed, you can add the same feed more than once.
    • Press the left and right arrows to move feeds to A B C or D.
  • Select 'Done' to return to the main screen.

Pro Tips

  1. One camera can be the source for multiple 'cameras,' this allows you to configure different views for the same input. In the camera browser, select the same source for different cameras.
  2. In multi-cam view, double tapping the video focuses on one camera. Double tap again to return to multi-cam.
  3. In two-up view with more than two sources, tap (A B C D) or the image, then a different camera button (A B C D) to replace the current video feed with a new one.
  4. In one-up view, tap INPUT to cycle through cameras A B C D.
  5. Two finger double tap hides toolbards (so does the hide tools button).
  6. Tap TOOLS to switch between all available tool panels.
    1. Single tap to turn each tool on or off.
    2. Long press to configure a tool.
  7. Long press the two-up button to pick which two sources to use.
    1. When using two-up view, try rotating your device to portrait mode.
  8. Long press MENU to bring up the full menu.
  9. Pinch to zoom works when viewing a full video frame.

Limitations

Viewing Limitations

Up to 10 iOS or Android phones/tablets can view the video village feed at the same time. Under ideal conditions, approximately 1000 feet of range can be expected. Real world environments (walls, wireless interference, etc.) will result in reduced range.

WiFi and Internet Limitations

You must be on the Video Village or Video Village 5G wireless network in order to view the camera feeds. Depending on configuration, this wireless network may not provide internet access.
